1998 QUEEN FAN CLUB CONVENTION

1998 Queen fan Club Convention

In 1998 The Bohemians played to 2000 Ardent Queen fans at the Queen Fan Club Convention. The Bohemians were the first 'look-al-ike' Queen tribute band to play the convention and the following is some of the feedback received.

Some reviews received after the 1998 Convention:

Dear Bohemians,
I would just like to say a huge thank you and congratulations for your performance at the Queen Convention in Prestatyn. I am sorry to say that I never saw Queen live, but your show on Friday night certainly made up for it!

You were absolutely fantastic and I know Freddie would be proud to have his music brought to the masses again by you guys! I hope you go on for as long as Queen did and more. I'll be your number one fan forever!!

I will definitely be at your next show, I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Dear Michael, Nick, Kevin & Adam
My name is Louise and I am 8 years old and I love The Bohemians! I first saw you at the Queen Convention. I think the way you sing and play is great.

I am too young to come and see you, but I watch you on telly as we have a video of you. I think you are the best tribute band in the world.

I am going to the QFC Convention again this year, and I am dressing up as Freddie in 'I want to break free'. Last year my friend and I came 2nd as 'Freddie & Mary'.

I really hope I can see you one day.
Lots of love,
Louise. QXXXXXXQ

To The Bohemians
I was at the Queen Convention 1998 and I thought The Bohemians were fantastic. I only wish the band would play closer to my area (Wrexham), but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

In April '98 my family were on the 'Big Breakfast' as the family of the week. It was made into a Queen orientated week and hopefully the band saw this.

I was the girl who dressed as Roger Taylor and played drums. I hope you have a prosperous life and that you all, keep it real...
